Like most days in Chicago, rain was planned on this summer day. Nicole & Aki had flown in from Pennsylvania so we were going to make it work either way!

“Can we bring our dog to the engagement session?” The answer is always YES! I love incorporating your fur baby into some of the photos :)

I absolutely LOVED Caitlin & Kevin’s unique engagement session. We started off at a bar near their apartment where we got photos sharing drinks as well as donuts since it was national donut day.

Who doesn’t love a beach engagement session!? Especially when these two seriously slayed their photos!

I just love a rooftop engagement session, especially when it’s at the LondonHouse! I met with Bo & Kate on a perfect overcast day where we almost had the rooftop to ourselves which is super rare once summer hits in Chicago!

I was looking forward to Rachel + Cole’s Anniversary session so much! Rachel is a fellow photographer, and I knew it was going to be great.
